Start Over® is designed to complement the features of a DVR, and there are situations in which your DVR will function differently if you are using Start Over.

If you are not sure whether the Start Over® prompt was displayed when you tuned to a program, press Select. If Start Over is available for the program, an Attention message is displayed, with Start Over as an option.

Many channels are available with Start Over®, but some programs may not use this feature, as determined by the broadcaster. Get the details on which channels and programs offer Start Over.

The fast forward function is not available while you are viewing a program that you have restarted with Start Over®.

If the Start Over® prompt is displayed and you do not want to use the feature, press the Exit button to remove the prompt from the screen immediately. The prompt is automatically removed from the screen at the same time as the information banner.

If you are unable to use Start Over® with a program or if it is not working properly once you begin, there are some things you can check to resolve the issue.

The Enhanced TV menu enables you to access the Start Over® and Look Back® features from select channels and programs.
