If you have phone service and a Spectrum Receiver, the Caller ID on TV feature gives you the option of using your TV as a Caller ID display. The caller’s name and phone number is displayed in the upper left corner of your television screen.
2. Will the Caller ID displayed on the TV be recorded if I am recording a program at the time of the call? No. Our smart technology prevents this.
If you have phone service and a Spectrum Receiver, you can take these steps to view the list of the most recent telephone calls you received.
Even if you have turned off Caller ID on TV, incoming phone calls are saved for later review in the Received Calls list.
If you have a second line with your phone service, Caller ID on TV displays calls made to both telephone numbers.
If your phone service is otherwise working and your ringer is turned on, you need to contact the Spectrum Support team for assistance, but there is something you can do as a temporary fix.
You must have Spectrum Voice® and a Spectrum Receiver to use Caller ID on TV. If this is the case and the feature is not working, find out how to check your settings to ensure that Caller ID on TV is active and that your connections are secure.
You can turn Caller ID on TV on and off through the Settings menu on your Spectrum Receiver.
Caller ID displays the name and number associated with an incoming call on your display screen. This feature enables you to see who is calling before you answer the telephone.
