How do I send blocked email to the master account holder's Inbox?

You can choose whether to delete blocked email or to send it to a folder of your choosing in the master account holder's inbox. Blocked email is deleted by default, so you need to change your settings only if you want your blocked email sent to a folder in the master account holder's Inbox.

To send blocked emails to the master account holder's Inbox:

  1. In your Internet browser, enter https://mail.brighthouse.com, and complete the login process. The Inbox page opens.
  2. Click Settings. The Settings page opens.
  3. Click Allow and Block Messages options. Allow and Block Messages page opens. If you have previously blocked senders, they are displayed in the Blocked Senders and Domains text box. If you have not already blocked senders, see In email, how do I block email messages from particular addresses or domains?
  4. Under Blocked Mail Actions, select Forward blocked mail to the Head of the Household (the master account holder). You can forward blocked email to:
    • The Deleted Items folder.
    • The Junk Mail folder.
    • A new folder that your create.
  5. If you want to send blocked email to Deleted Items or Junk Mail, select one of those items from the Place messages in drop-down list, and click OK. The system returns to the Settings page. You have completed this procedure.
  6. If you want to create a new folder, enter the name of the folder in the Create new folder text box.
  7. Click OK. The system automatically selects the folder you just created in the Place messages in drop-down list and returns to the Settings page.
