What is Automatic Call Completion?

After you request a standard Directory Assistance listing and the phone number is provided, you can choose to be connected to the requested number automatically.

You can choose not to be automatically connected to the phone number you requested by hanging up after hearing the number or by requesting to hear a message on Unlimited Directory Assistance.

If you dial 411 for Directory Assistance, are provided a telephone number, and choose to be connected to that number automatically, there is no charge for Automatic Call Completion other than the per-call Directory Assistance rate.

If you request Operator Assistance by dialing 0 to get an operator's help with obtaining a number or to get help connecting to a number, you are charged the Operator Assistance fee. If the operator helps establish a person-to-person call or station-to-station call, you could be assessed toll charges for those calls.
