Spectrum TV

I selected a program for recording, but it was not recorded. How can I prevent this from happening in the future?

If your DVR did not record a program as scheduled, it could be caused by a number of situations:

Unresolved Recording Conflict

The DVR can record a limited number of programs at once. If too many programs are scheduled to record at the same time, recordings will be canceled. See How do I resolve a recording conflict?

DVR Out of Recording Space

If the DVR is out of recording space and a new recording is scheduled, either the new recording is canceled or an older recording is deleted to make room. You can set this preference using your remote control. See How can I maximize my DVR storage space?

Program No Longer on the Air

If you scheduled a series to be recorded and it is no longer recording, the program may have been taken off the air by the broadcaster or possibly moved into a different time slot.

Series Recording Issue

If none of the above occurred and the program is a series recording, see My DVR is not recording a series I have scheduled.
