Home Networking - Not Working After Password Change

If you have our Home Networking service and change your wireless username and password, you may need to pair your modem and access point.

  1. Be sure both the Access Point (AP) and the gateway are powered on and have completed their boot-up cycle.
  2. Press and hold the WPS button on the AP for 10 seconds and release it. This places the AP in discovery mode.
  3. Press and hold the WPS button on the gateway for 10 seconds and release it. This will trigger the modem to search for devices in discovery mode.
  4. When the red LED around the WPS button on the AP stops blinking, it has joined the gateway's network with identical setting.
