Spectrum TV

There is interference or snowy reception on some channels.

If your TV's picture is snowy or has interference:

  1. Make sure all wires are securely connected, including any coaxial cables.
  2. Check other channels. If the reception problem is limited to one channel, it may be a temporary problem with the broadcaster.
  3. Ensure that your TV or VCR is tuned to the correct input for your connection, particularly if you tune your TV to channel 3 or 4.
  4. If you have a Spectrum Receiver, make sure you have not moved it to a different outlet. If you need to move your TV and Spectrum Receiver to a new location, a technician is required to ensure that outlet is receiving the proper signal levels.
