How is 3D content filmed?

Instead of filming with just one camera, 3D content is shot with two cameras. One camera is set up to shoot the video as your left eye would see the image, and the other films the video at the angle your right eye would see it. Filming in 3D typically requires a stereographer, modified production trucks, and precise camera calibration.
