Spectrum TV

Are there health concerns with 3D technology?

You could experience some eyestrain, caused by your eyes artificially refocusing your depth perception continuously because of the strobe-like active-shutter glasses used to view 3D TV. If the glasses are set at too low a frequency, the content could appear jerky.

If you have epilepsy, the strobe-like effect of the 3D glasses also could pose health problems.

Other possible health risks include nausea and confusion. Pregnant women should exercise extra caution.
