What should I do if I forgot my My Services username or password?

My Services — Retrieve Username or Reset Password

  1. On the main toolbar, click My Services Tab. The My Services page opens.
  2. If you forgot your username, click Forgot username?
  3. Enter the Email Address you used to register for My Services, and click Send Email Button. An email is sent to you with the username used by your email address.
  4. Click Sign In Button to return to the My Services login page.
  5. If you forgot your password, click Forgot password?
  6. Enter your Username, and click Continue Button. An email with a temporary password is sent to the email associated with that username.
  7. Open the email, and copy the password provided in it.
  8. Return to the My Services login page. Login by entering your username and the temporary password provided in the email. Click Sign In Button.
  9. Type a new password in the Choose Password field. Re-enter it in the Re-enter Password field.
    • Passwords cannot include your first or last name. See complete password requirements.
  10. Create and answer two Security Questions.
  11. Read the User Agreement and Terms and Conditions of Use, and then check I agree to Terms of Use.
  12. Click Continue Buttonchange the username or password for your My Services account at any time.

    My Spectrum App — Retrieve Username

    1. Open the My Spectrum app.
      • If you do not already have the app on your smartphone or tablet, find out how to access it.
    2. On the My Spectrum sign-in screen, select Forgot Username. You are redirected to the Forgot Username screen.
    3. Enter the email address you used to register for your My Services account, and select Send Email.
      • An email will be sent to the email address linked to your My Services account. It contains your username.

    My Spectrum App — Retrieve Password

    1. Open the My Spectrum app.
      • If you do not already have the app on your smartphone or tablet, find out how to access it.
    2. On the My Spectrum sign-in screen, tap Forgot Password. You are redirected to the Forgot Password screen.
    3. Enter your My Services username, and select Continue. An email is sent to the email address associated with that username, providing you with a new password.
