I just received my first bill. Why is it higher than the price that was quoted for my monthly services?

Your first Spectrum statement may be higher than your original quote for a number of reasons. The most common reasons are installation fees and prorated charges. Both of these fees will not show under the summary section on page one, but will show under the service details section on page three. Prorated fees include charges for the time period between when services were installed and the beginning of your first billing cycle. After the first month, both the installation fees and prorated fees will not be included on your statement.

Also, your first bill may include charges for a partial month of service. Finally, taxes are added in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements.
