What happens if I reach the storage quota in my mailbox for Web Mail?

Once you reach your quota:

  • In your Inbox, you get a message that indicates you received email that could not be accepted because your mailbox is full.
  • No additional messages are accepted until you delete items in your mailbox or allocate more storage.
  • Messages are bounced back to the sender until you allocate more storage or reduce the amount of mailbox storage. The sender receives a message with the returned email indicating that your mailbox is full and cannot currently accept messages.
