How do I connect my Xbox 360 gaming console to a wireless network?
To connect to a WiFi network:
- Plug the WiFi adapter into the Ethernet port on the back of your console.
- The Xbox 360 S has a WiFi adapter built in, and does not need the adapter.
- Under My Xbox, scroll to and click System Settings.
- Select Network Settings from the list, and then click Configure Network.
- Click on the first block of information under the Basic Settings tab, and select Scan for Networks. A list of available networks is displayed.
- Select the desired WiFi network.
- If prompted, enter the WiFi password. Press Done to confirm.
- Press B to return to Network Settings. Select Test Xbox LIVE Connection to ensure the console is properly connected.
To find the wireless MAC address:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, select System > Network Settings.
- Select Edit Settings > Additional Settings > Advanced Settings, then Wireless Information.
- The MAC Address is displayed on this screen.
