Blocking Calls From Specific Numbers

There are several ways to block calls, including from specific numbers.

  • Use Block Unwanted Callers to eliminate calls from phone numbers you designate.
  • Use Nomorobo to block calls from telemarketers and other robo-callers.
  • Use Block Anonymous Calls to block calls that don't display a phone number on your Caller ID display (Anonymous, Private, or Blocked).

You can also use Accept Selected Callers to receive calls only from the numbers you specify.

Block Unwanted Callers enables you to block calls from up to 30 specific phone numbers.

  • Callers on your blocked list will hear the following message: "The party you are calling is not accepting calls at this time."
  • Blocked calls aren't displayed on your Caller ID, won't be forwarded to another number, and won't go to voicemail.

To set up Block Unwanted Callers:

  1. Sign in to your online account.
  2. Select Manage Phone Features & Check Voicemail.
  3. For Peace & Quiet, select Block Unwanted Callers.
  4. Select On.
  5. Enter a number you want to block, and then select Add to Block Unwanted Callers List.
  6. When you're finished adding numbers, select Save Changes.

You can remove a number from the list by selecting X. You can also turn the feature off at any time.
