My alarm system went off late last night, and when I tried to call my alarm company, I had no dial tone.

If there is no dial tone after your home alarm system sounds:

  1. Notify us about the problem.
  2. Contact your alarm company to discuss the situation and see what the company recommends. It is important that the alarm company identifies the true reason that the alarm sounded.
    • You might want to request that your alarm company reconfigure its settings so the alarm does not sound if there is a loss of dial tone. This setting is recommended by many alarm providers.
    • You can also talk to your alarm company about a cellular bypass option for the alarm system.
